Characteristics and functions of shelf fittings
The use of heavy shelf accessories is based on the use of the installation of the actual needs to configure, the following are some commonly used accessories:

Corner protectors
Corner protectors are designed to shield rack uprights from impact damage, typically installed at the base of uprights. In operational practice, occasional forklift collisions with rack uprights are inevitable - without such protection, upright deformation may occur. As uprights serve as primary load-bearing components, any deformation compromises structural integrity and risks safety incidents, necessitating immediate replacement. When corner protectors are installed, direct impacts to uprights can be prevented. Should the protector sustain damage, its replacement involves significantly lower costs and shorter downtime compared to upright replacement.
Anti-collision guardrail
Anti-collision guardrails are standard ancillary equipment for racking systems, serving a similar protective function to corner protectors by mitigating forklift impact risks. Typically installed at both ends of racking structures and adjacent to structural columns or walls, these barriers create a physical buffer zone to prevent direct collisions between material handling equipment and vulnerable architectural or storage system components.

Pallet Rear Stopper/Back Mesh/Side Mesh
Pallet Rear Stopper, Back Mesh, and Side Mesh are used to secure pallet positions on beam racking, preventing pallets and cargo from displacement or falling.
Steel Decking / Steel Mesh Decking / Cross Beam
Steel Decking/Steel Mesh Decking/Cross Beams are installed on rack beams to secure cargo and pallets. Specific types like I-shaped, H-shaped, or Grid-shaped Cross Beams provide intermediate support to prevent pallet displacement.

Ancillary equipment for storage racks serves specific functions. Strategic selection of such devices based on practical needs enhances convenience, efficiency, and safety during cargo handling operations.
