The main body of narrow aisle shelves is a beam-type shelf. The difference is that the action rails of the "three-way stacking forklift" are installed on the ground at the bottom of the shelf. Its biggest feature is that the channel is much narrower than the general beam type, about 1600mm-2000mm, which greatly improves the space utilization rate of the warehouse. It is precisely because the forklift handling channel of its shelf system is relatively narrow, so it is called narrow aisle or narrow channel shelf.
Features and advantages of narrow aisle shelves:
1. The speed of cargo circulation is higher than that of ordinary shelves. The aisle forklift can operate at a height of up to 14 meters, and the electric stacking crane can even operate at a higher altitude.
2. Special forklifts or cranes are required, and other handling machinery and storage and retrieval transfer stations are also required. The shelf not only has the function of storing pallets, but also needs to support and reinforce the handling equipment.
3. The requirements for structural strength and tolerance are extremely strict. Accurate design and installation must be comprehensively considered. Semi-automatic auxiliary control is used during operation to ensure that the pallet is accurately positioned on the high-level cargo position.
